Hello Everyone, Today I’m talking about The Ordinary. More specifically The Ordinary Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10% which is a brightening hydrator with stabilised vitamin C derivative. (Buy Here)
I have very mixed feelings on this product. The directions say to “Apply a small amount of this cream formula to face AM and PM, after application of water- based serums.” After using this for a couple of weeks in the AM I found it to be greasy, slow absorbing and almost impossible to apply makeup after using. I have however enjoyed using this at night after all my usual skin care in place of my regular moisturizer. The slow absorbance did not bother me as I was going to bed and did not need to apply any makeup and I could live with the greasy texture. After using this very dense cream overnight my skin felt extremly nourised and hydrated. If you dislike using very heavy creams I would not recomend this as It could have the tendincy to break you out if you have sensitive skin.
Do I think it is worth using over any other product? Possibly not but as an occasional skin pick me up, yes.
Have you ever used this cream? What do you think?
Love S x
