Hi peeps, Today I going to be talking about my updated skincare routine (30 something). I am a self confessed skincare junkie, and I take it very seriously. I love to use skincare from the drugstore (sometimes higher end) and I love to switch it up.
As soon as I wakeup I like to head straight to my vanity and begin my morning routine. I start with Garnier Micellar Rose Water.
I use a cotton pad and rub all over my face and eyes just to get rid of any dead skin and grime that may of accumulated on my skin over night. I love rose products and I find this micellar water lovely and not harsh at all. Perfect morning pick me up.
My next step is using the sister product of the rose water cleanse and glow micellar water, the Garnier Rose Water Toner.
I love a toner and I feel like this on is great for the morning as its not too stringent and the smell is divine. With a little bit over a cotton pad all ver my face makes my skin feel toned and fresh.
Now its time for the serum. My fave at the moment is The Ordinary “Buffet” Multi-Technology Peptide Serum
The concentrated serum boasts multiple Peptide complexes, including Matrixyl 3000, Syn-Ake and Relistase, which work in synergy with 11 skin-friendly Amino Acids. With regular use, the serum seeks to smooth the complexion, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. My skin feels nourished and bright after using this versatile serum.
At this stage I moisturise with Garnier Natural Rose Water Moisturiser .
As you can see I am slightly obsessed with the Garnier Rose range of products. This moisturiser is light but very luxurious which is great under makeup. The scent is delicate and it leaves a fresh soft feeling on my skin.
After I apply my make up I apply a misting of Pixi Rose Glow Mist.
I use this to set my makeup and to give my skin a refresh through out the day. This mist is also great when not wearing makeup to give a very soft glow.
In the evening after I remove my makeup with a hot cloth cleanser and run over my face with the Garnier Micellar Rose Water Cleanse & Glow I then use the Lacura Healthy Glow exfoliating Toner with Glycolic Acid (Find similar here).
This toner is amazing in the evening after makeup removal, as it reveals a healthy glow and it removes every shred of dead skin. The glycolic acid leaves my skin feeling tightened and ready for the stronger skincare products in my regime.
I mix the L-Ascorbic powder with the serum for a direct hit of vitamin C to even skin tone, dullness and other signs of ageing. When I apply this combination I can immediately feel a tingling in my skin and a very noticeable change in my skins surface, this is defiantly my secret weapon.
Please share what your skincare routine is and do you use any of these products? Let me know in the comments.
